Artist / Title: Kendrick Lamar / Complexion
Summary: This song by Kendrick Lamar is about educating the society on how we treat each other no matter our skin colour. This song is a good song because not only the catchy beat but the lyrics tell a story on how we should all be treated equally because we are all humans and at the end of the day we can't change where we come from or our family origin. I feel as though this hasn't had much of a impact as it could've done because people don't listen to the lyrics of music these days. My favourite line from this song is So "I'ma say something that's vital and critical for survival of mankind if he lying, colour should never rival Beauty it is what you make it, I used to be so mistaken by different shades of faces." I like this line because no one should be judged no matter their skin colour.
My relation: I feel as though this song is good and if you listen to the lyrics you get a real understanding on how Kendrick feels about it. Kendrick shows hope when he sings; "if you don't see you're beautiful, it ain't complex to put it into context." I've witnessed Racism before and it wasn't something i want to see happening. I feel as though the more people who try and spread a message out there, the faster Racism will slow down. In my eyes there should be no separation between different skin colours because everyone has a story and a friend of different complexion.
The main message: I think the main message from this song is everyone should be treated equally because we're all human and we were all made to be who we are. We can't change who we are and where we come from.

I like the message you have explained from this song. I agree with you - people shouldn't be judged by the colour of their skin. All that is missing in this response is a second example from the song. You've given one example of a great line in the song - you need to add a second line in to one of the paragraphs.
